  1. The comments by the retired sheriff and the judge are incredible. Retired sheriff Wollyung said that carrying a gun is “A privilege, not a right,” and “It had a brazenness about it that he could carry the gun no matter where he went.” That’s the incredulity of an aristocrat at a citizen having the gall to bear arms. And the judge? He said he may ask the legislators to make it illegal to carry a gun into a polling place. How’s that for brazen? The aristocracy are fine with the people having rights on paper, in potential only, or granted by permit, but let us exercise a right as the founder’s intended and they just can’t stand it.
