Feral Cops: They Shot The Dog! Again!

Watch this video at your peril. You will rethink every good thought you ever had about Modern Compliance Enforcement Officers (MCEO).

Yes, they shot the dog. Again and again and again. As the crackshots they invariably are, it took four rounds to complete the task. They probably practiced a tactical reload as well, just to be sure.

I know not where these thugs think they will need their finely honed home invasion skills or what mission they think awaits their future, but know this is an unacceptable level of violence perpetrated on a nearly catatonic citizenry.

Criminologists call this behavior “rehearsal”- a preparation for escalation sometime in the future. It is the manner in which house burglars move from theft to rape as they become more practiced in their craft.

Imagine this video featured uniformed soldiers in Iraq or Afghanistan as they invaded a Muslim Household and executed their pets in such a cavalier fashion?

It would be the lead atrocity story on every muddlestream electronic media network and fodder for a thousand print media headlines.

What these MCEO’s do for sport is the stuff that gives honest soldiers nightmares.

Watch the last few seconds very carefully. When the MCEO says “We will take that as a yes” you witness the Martha Stewart adoptive admission precedent discussed HERE (CLICK LINK)

In modern America you no longer have the right to “remain silent”. Silence will be interpreted to suit the convenience of the officer in charge.

Youtube Description:

This video shows a search warrant served by the Columbia Mo. police department. The cops bust in this guys house in the middle of the night and shoot his two dogs (one a pit bull that was caged in the kitchen and the other a Corgi) with children in the home. it turns out that rather than a big time drug dealer, this guy had a small pipe with some resin in it, a grinder, and what the cops here call “a small amount of marijuana” (meaning less than a few grams). We here in Columbia want everyone to know what kind of police department we have here, check out our “finest” in action.

Tantalizing Excerpt:
In February, I wrote the following about a drug raid in Missouri:

SWAT team breaks into home, fires seven rounds at family’s pit bull and corgi (?!) as a seven-year-old looks on.

They found a “small amount” of marijuana, enough for a misdemeanor charge. The parents were then charged with child endangerment.

So smoking pot = “child endangerment.” Storming a home with guns, then firing bullets into the family pets as a child looks on = necessary police procedures to ensure everyone’s safety.

Just so we’re clear.

  1. I am from Columbia. I have never liked these para-military search/arrest warrants and they need to stop. However, I think the facts of the case are bad enough without putting in distortions. First off, neither dog was in a cage. A pit bull was behind a child fence in the kitchen. The corgi was not shot on purpose, but was likely a ricochet-it was hit in the paw and has survived.

I can actually understand the police action regarding the pit bull IF it was coming out of the fence towards them. However, to be shooting like that with a child in the home. My gosh. Thank God they only managed to kill the one dog.

If you go to the source of the original video and read the posts you will see a response from a neighbor describing the wife cleaning up after the “raid.” Bullet holes in the walls, blood everywhere, possessions tossed all over and broken, damage to the fixtures and doors. Total horror, terrror and trauma. For what? A bit of weed.

    • Thanks for the observations.

The comment about the dog in the crate was provided by the Youtube Video Poster who identifies himself as a fellow resident of your city.

There is no attempt here to distort any facts beyond published accounts in newspapers and elsewhere.

As to Police Encounters and Dogs, at this point there are literally thousands of “isolated incidents”.

For some reason Police are inclined to shoot or maim pets- from an ATF raid where an Agent is alleged to have stomped a kitten to documented accounts where they shoot their own K-9 units, the neighbor’s dogs and dogs of people at “wrong address” raids.

      • Yes, I understand where the “crate” idea came from. Like I said, the very first story at the Columbia Tribune reported the pit bull was in the kitchen behind a baby fence. As the replies to the story in the Trib’s comment section went on eventually someone posted that both dogs were shot dead and then that dogs were in crates, and later in cages. It was sort of like that game “gossip.” It just morphed as more and more people expressed their outrage.

What I’d like to see are all SWAT teams stop these no-knock, or quick-knock surprise, middle of the night, terrorist-look-alike, para-military searches and arrests for weed or other lessor crimes. It was not worth the danger of an errant shot possibly hitting a 7 year old child. (NRA & CCW training even teaches firearm safety…for a reason!!) Save SWAT for serious crimes like hostages, murders, etc.

I hope the viral nature of this story causes all law enforcement departments to reconsider their SOP’s. So many of the SWAT night raids end up with innocent people killed, or at the least traumatized. They get bad information, a wrong address, a misunderstanding, unintentional gun fire, or deliberate cover-up and next then you know someone is dead. It’s way too common. Not to mention the destruction of property and reputations, pets, and trust. It just has to stop.

  2. Noble “comments” from the past, A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. How-ever had the homeowner in this case exercised that “freedom” (assuming he hadn’t been striped of it via Felony) perhaps the dog wouldn’t have been the only one shot and killed… live free or die 😉

  3. To all modern Sons of Liberty: Find and post their NAMES and LOCATIONS! Find them NOW….

Confirmed through open source that (REDACTED) is the SWAT team commander (He commented on the incident in an article).

Through Yahoo People Search and WhitePages.com, I was able to find the following (REDACTED)addresses/ phone #’s in Columbia, MO:

    (REDACTED BY JJH)

    AND

    (REDACTED BY JJH)

The deputy chief’s last name looks to be “REDACTED” as opposed to “REDACTED.”

    POSSIBLE match below.

    (REDACTED BY JJH)

Keep the pressure up. They’re either a part of the solution or a part of the problem!

JJH NOTE: POLICE AND OTHERS IN CRITICAL JOBS HAVE KNOWN FOR MANY YEARS A CERTAIN PERCENTAGE OF THE POPULATION (THINK CELEBRITY STALKERS) WOULD BE INTERESTED IN THEIR MOVEMENTS AND HAVE TAKEN PRECAUTIONS TO MAKE IT DIFFICULT TO DO SO. IT IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE VALID ABOUT THESE INDIVIDUALS WITHOUT EXTENSIVE CONFIRMATION. PLEASE DO NOT POST ESSENTIALLY USELESS OR COUNTERPRODUCTIVE INFORMATION ON THIS BLOG. MANY THANKS, JJH
