Isn’t it funny that after a lifetime of supporting legislation that hurts law-abiding gun owners, he himself finds himself in need of a firearm and uses it.
Guess they are right. Gun control is not about safety or security of the nation, its about Government Control.
Maybe the media will ask the Senator why He himself owns a gun but would like to see law abiding citizens disarmed?

You can fight for the control of guns so that criminals and freaks are not allowed to own them and also have a legal gun. Gun control does not mean NO GUNS it means lets make sure that there are reasonable protections for the betterment of society.
There are no reasonable weapon restrictions for the betterment of society.
The only reasonable restriction is to punish the guilty when they violate the rights of others and leave everyone else alone.
Anything less is government imposed anarchy.

Is it possible that GRNC’s grading system has a flaw?
I noticed on project votesmart, that they list his nra report card giving Soles high marks.

When you go to Grnc’s website he is labeled as a zero, but it appears that not returning their survey earns you a zero regardless of having a pro-gun voting record.
First, he did not get a Zero, he got a One, based on his cumulative votes as well as his actions over his career.
Second, NRA has a long history of covert gun control initiatives over the past century. If the President of the NRA had his way in the 1930s, pistols would be considered NFA restricted in the same way machineguns are currently regulated.

Please note the difference between an “anti-gun” Politician and a “gun control” Politician.
Senator Soles has voted for Government Control of an Armed Citizenry but has not necessarily voted to destroy or eliminate all weapons for ordinary citizens.
Since the Constitution declares the Right To Keep And Bear Arms shall not be infringed, any Politician who votes for Government Control of the Right To Keep And Bear Arms is properly labeled ” a gun control Politician”

He voted AYE on SB 11 (allowing DA and Ass’t DAs to carry a concealed weapon in court) and HB 473 (allowing magistrates to carry a concealed weapon in court). Both passed by overwhelming margins. Again, remember the Right To Keep And Bear Arms shall not be infringed as per the Constitution.
To pass a selective law to benefit DA’s and Ass’t DA’s to carry concealed in a courtroom is an infringement on the right of all citizens who are not DA’s and Ass’t DA’s to carry concealed in a courtroom.
Senator Soles has a consistent record of support for Unconstitutional Gun Control with the support and Assistance of the NRA.
We, The People, do not tolerate such insidious infringement.
